We offer face to face courses and several courses can be delivered online to suit your business needs.
Driver CPC
We are a JAUPT approved Training Centre AC00199 and have been a national provider for in excess of 14 years with a solid reputation for bespoke quality training. We are able to provide both in person and online sessions for single candidates or group bookings in many venues across the UK.
We have a portfolio of courses, which have been developed to support drivers and provide a range of interesting subject matter that reflects their roles. The courses meet DVSA standards and are renewed and updated annually.
Earned Recognition Audit Provider
Earned Recognition for vehicle operators is a fantastic way to prove your organisation meets DVSA driver and vehicle standards.
DVSA Earned Recognition operators regularly share performance information with the DVSA in the form of a monthly report which in turn the DVSA will monitor in terms of KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) that have been set in line with Operator Licence Requirements.
Joining the scheme can lower the amount of roadside checks or inspections, and show your company to be exemplary operators to other agencies or when bidding for future tenders.
As an authorised audit provider, we at J17 can offer you the following:

Preparation of policies, procedures and systems

Demonstrating an approved DVSA IT supplier system

Providing you with an audit report that is submitted to DVSA for approval

Providing ongoing compliance advice and services if and when required
J17 are an authorised audit provider for both HGV and PCV.
Awards and Qualifications
We work in partnership with ProQual and Licence Checking Ltd to offer a number of Level 3 national awards.
Driver Training
We offer licence acquisition for all categories of vehicle class along with refresher sessions for those that haven't driven a certain vehicle class for a while.
Alternatively Fuelled Vehicles
We now offer a training package to allow your drivers to complete a certification to drive an AFV (alternatively fuelled vehicle) up to 4.25t.
This is a 5 hour online course up to a 1:20 ratio.
Driving Assessor & Coaching
We provide Driving Assessor programs and coaching courses, each dealing with your own personal business requirements. We also offer many specialist courses including Collision Investigation and Driving Licence checking and can design and deliver any specialist training you or your company may require. Operator's Licence Compliance Audits
J17 can provide a compliance audit which is strictly confidential and will demonstrate your level of compliance against current Traffic Commissioner requirements. We help you stay safe and compliant.
